Dreamluna has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out the standards we hold ourselves to, the protections built into the app, and how anyone can report a concern. It is published in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.
1. Our Commitment
Dreamluna is a private dream journal with optional, opt-in community sharing. We are committed to keeping the service free of any content or behaviour that sexualises, endangers, or exploits children.
- Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any conduct that grooms, solicits, or endangers a minor.
- We prohibit the creation, upload, sharing, request, or promotion of CSAE/CSAM through any part of the app.
- We comply with all applicable child safety laws, including those of the European Union, Türkiye, and the United States.
2. Adults-Only Service
Dreamluna is intended for adults. Use is restricted to people aged 18 and over.
- We collect date of birth at sign-up to enforce the 18+ requirement.
- Accounts found to belong to minors are removed.
- The app is not directed to children and is not listed in family or child-focused categories.
3. Standards Against CSAE
To prevent abuse and exploitation, we apply the following standards:
- Prohibited content policy. Our Terms of Service ban content that sexualises minors or facilitates their exploitation. Violations result in immediate removal and account termination.
- Moderation of shared content. Dreams, comments, profiles, and any user-shared material are subject to moderation. Reported or detected violations are reviewed and actioned promptly.
- Reporting and blocking. Users can report and block other users and any shared content directly in the app.
- Account action. Confirmed violations lead to content removal, account bans, and preservation of evidence as required by law.
- Cooperation with authorities. We report apparent CSAM to the relevant authorities — including, where applicable, the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) — and cooperate with law enforcement.
4. How to Report a Concern
In the app: use the report option on any shared dream, comment, or user profile to flag child safety concerns. You can also block the user from the same menu.
By email: contact our designated child safety point of contact at dreamlunapp@gmail.com with the subject "Child safety". Include links, usernames, or screenshots where possible so we can act quickly.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Suspected child sexual abuse material can also be reported to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org.
5. How We Respond
Reports of child safety concerns are treated as the highest priority. When we receive a report or detect a violation, we:
- Review the content and account as quickly as possible.
- Remove violating content and disable the responsible account.
- Preserve relevant evidence in line with legal obligations.
- Report apparent CSAM to the appropriate authorities and cooperate with any investigation.
6. Contact
Designated point of contact for child safety matters: dreamlunapp@gmail.com. We aim to respond to child safety reports within 48 hours.
